On November 12, 2015 the FIABCI Pacific Northwest Council held a sustainability panel for real estate professionals in the Greater Seattle Area.  In attendance were professionals of the real estate industry covering development, engineering, brokerage, law, design, government, and education.

Moderating the event was Nicole DeNamur with Pacifica Law Group and Affiliate Instructor at the Runstad Center for Real Estate Studies.  On the panel were Alan Levine expert in affordable housing and an Instructor at the UW Runstad Center for Real Estate, Polina Zaika Principal Designer at MusaDesign, FIABCI-USA Seattle Pacific NW Council Board Member, and Vice President of FIABCI Prix D-Excellence Committee, Dave Ramslie, head of sustainability and research at Integral Group, Sam Lai, the CMO at Green Canopy Homes and Co-founder of Green Canopy Homes and on the board of directors, and Ryan Moore the Senior Planner for the City of Seattle Department of Planning and Development.

The panelist addressed the past, present and future of building sustainable communities.  This was not a single building panel but focused on all facets of building communities that would last, be green and affordable to the communities in which we live and work.
